Welcome To The Beginner Course
Welcome to the Beginner Drum Course. This course starts from the absolute basics and takes you step by step through everything you need to play the drums with good technique.
Your teacher is Ross Farrant from Drum Hero Drum School. Ross teaches the same techniques here that he teaches in his in-person lessons, so you learn to play correctly from your very first session and build habits that help you reach your drumming goals.
You start with the drum kit itself: how to set it up, how to tune it and how to hold the sticks. From there, you learn to play the bass drum pedal, hi-hats and cymbals, play your first rock beat, your first song and your first drum fill, then move on to note values and reading drum notation.

Module 1 is where you begin. The remaining modules will be released as they are completed.
Start with Lesson 1, Setting Up A 4 Piece Drum Kit, and work through each lesson at your own pace.
